Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

After pressing the power button to turn on my laptop it boots to the main screen saver screen displaying the time and date, however when I press enter or click with mouse it will not take me to the screen to enter my password. It remains on the screen saver with date and time. This has been going on for over six months I have not been able to get into my laptop.
