Hi there, I have an HP Victus 16-e0215ax Laptop. It has 8GB of RAM built in and I wanted to upgrade it to 32GB since it said in the specs that it's the maximum supported memory.
I bought two sticks of T-Create 16GB RAM from Teamgroup.
However, when I installed them both, the laptop doesn't boot. The power button only lights up for a while and goes out. I tried troubleshooting it: checked for windows updates; updated to the latest bios. But it still doesn't work.
However, when I tried putting the stock 8GB Ram and one of the 16GB sticks, it works perfectly. Both 16GB sticks worked perfectly in that configuration.
I don't mind using this setup, it's still 24GB of RAM. But it's a shame that I have a 16GB stick around and I can't use it when the specs clearly say that it supports 32GB of RAM. Would anyone have any idea why this is the case? Any kind of help would be appreciated. Thanks!
