Hi all,
Looking for the appropriate fix here. I left the computer shut down for a month and unplugged. When I returned, the battery is at 0% and will not charge. When I run the system diagnostic, the batter test fails, and I get error "Primary - Replace (40) Failure ID 9TX07D-A3QB6Q-MFPU3G-C0F403." Might be a deep discharge issue? i get that replacing the battery would probably fix this, but I feel as if I shouldn't have to. The computer is 1.5 years old and has only light use, i.e. I don't work on it, rarely travel with it or use it unplugged, and have left it completely unused for at least 4 months of the 18 that I have had it. Of course, I am out of warranty. Any suggestions?
