Very recently my laptop screen has started consistently flickering on Start up. It's unreadable and the laptop appears to start up too quickly possibly without everything it needs. A hard restart is needed and invariably the restart gets it working perfectly - with a noticeably longer wait on the HP logo page including circular wait cursor.. The only thing I've noticed different is a recent update must have forced the HP Assistant into start up apps as prior to the problem it was always background. Disabling this in start up does not clear the problem. I've checked for both Win 11 and Driver updates and everything appears to be up to date.
