I bought a HP Envy Laptop last year. I sent it back for repair because there was a cracking noise on the speakers. It sounded like a hardware issue but the technician told me it was a software issue and installed in the OS. Since it came back it blue-screened very frequently. Then, one day the hinge came out of the back for no reason and a few days later the whole laptop died. I brought it back to the retailer who told me it would cost MORE than the price I paid for it to be repaired and I should throw it out. I only bought it LAST YEAR! I have tried to contact HP but I cannot find ANY WAY to contact them! Surely they must be required to have a representation for post-sale issues. Otherwise this is a big concern for anyone buying HP.
