I have an HP Envy x360 15-ed1000 that I got in January of '21 and the power button doesn't work properly. It sometimes only takes a few presses for the laptop to turn on and sometimes it takes me pressing it over and over and over again to get it to power up. I'm somewhat hesitant to open it up myself as I've only ever really worked on the internals of desktops, not laptops. But if it's going to cost me an arm and a leg to send it into HP (it's not under warranty anymore) then I will open it up myself. I know I'd need to get new rubber strips on the bottom as those have to be pulled off just to get the bottom panel off. From there, I'm not sure if I'll need to replace a button, a board or if it's something as simple as soldering a piece back into place. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.
