Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hello World,

 

I have a friend who just got a new PC with Windows 11 and her printer is an old PhotoSmart D110a. I connected the printer and the PC seems to automatically recognize it, but it is not printing properly. Anything i try to print produces page after page of gibberish. Is this model printer simply incompatible with Windows 11? Or is there some other way around this? The PC is completely up-to-date with Microsoft & HP updates. Thank you in advance for any input. 😊
