Product: HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 2778 All-in-One Printer

I have purchased HP deskjet ink advantage 2778, i am not able to install the printer, even through wired connection. Also i am unable to download HP smart on my laptop.   I have a Hp login and also have a ms login. i have the Wify password for the printer, i have also registered my printer with HP through printer pin.  but am unable to link my printer to my laptop. Please guide.
