HP Spectre x360 - 13-ae003la

So just after 8 months after the warranty expired, I was using my spectre when I started to smell smoke, then the computer went black and never turned on again, not even the charger light.

HP costumer service México was not helpful at all because I was out of warranty and didn't want to even look at it.
After many calls, they opened a case about the problem, and after 6 months they just closed the case, no contact, no response, no solution and no reason to do so. Beyond angry at this point.
Took it to 2 different local repair shops and they told me it was as good as dead, and because I'm in México, unless its via HP itself, the parts are very difficult to get and the motherboard is as expensive as getting a new computer.

So basically, less than 2 years, my $1,200 dlls HP Spectre is burnt and useless. And just by a glance at the forums, this is a really common experience for this "premium" computer.
This is really a really negligent and irresponsible stand by HP, this thing could got my house burnt down.
