Product: HP ENVY x360 - 15-cp0086nr

I have an HP ENVY X360 (15 CP0086NR) that will not display anything on the screen. Caps lock button is blinking 3 long, 5 short flashes. I read that this is the BIOS. I have removed the battery and tried inserting the power cable while pressing the POWER WINDOWS +B (no battery). Is there any hope of fixing this? Or is the MB shot?
