Hi! I've owned two HP Envy laptops, one purchased through a third party retailer (but had the original WiFi card) and a second purchased through HP directly. In both cases, the WiFi card that comes with the laptop worked terribly, and had stuttering video and laggy connections to games even when on a very high speed WiFi connection (cross-checked with other devices). In both cases, I replaced the adapter with a Wireless 802.11 2.4GHz/5GHz/6GHz adapter from Newegg and in both cases this adapter solved the problem. I'm not sure what's going on with HP's QA for their wireless adapters, but I hope the complaint gets delivered to HP and I hope other users see this in case their laptop's card is also lacking in performance.
