Hi, I would like to update my BIOS firmware for my pc, but need some advice.
Computer Info:
HP Compaq 8200 Elite SFF PC
SKU Number: QN089AW#ABU
Processor Type: Intecl(R) Core(TM) i5-2500 CPU @ 3.30GHz
Processor Speed: 3300Mhz
System BIOS: J01 v2.06
Chassis Serial Number: [Personal Information Removed]
ME Firmware version: 7.1.3.1053
ME Management Mode: AMT
From the above, I think my BIOS firmware is currently v2.06.
Please could someone advise on which version I would required
and where to get it, as obviously do not want to brick
my machine.
Also, from what I have read on other posts, anything later
than v02.28 leads to problems with the restart hanging.
So am I correct in thinking that I should only flash
to v02.28?
If you require any further information please
let me know and I will try and get it for you.
Thanks in advance
