We are having a lot of problems with our brand-new HP EliteBook 840 G9 laptops. Most of the time, it won't wake up from "sleep" mode. After we applied the BIOS update, it seemed to be better but we still randomly have issues where the laptop won't power on. The keyboard and power is light up, but nothing comes up on the screen. When this happens, we have to tell the user to "hard reset" the laptop by unplugging everything and then holding down the power button for 60 sec and letting it go, and waiting another 5 sec before turning the laptop on. We had a bunch of users having to do this for the past 3 months since we got this new model. What is wrong with this model!! How do we permanently fix this? Most laptops already have the latest HP/Windows drivers. Bios is at U71 Ver. 01.08.01. We really hate this new model!! So many issues!
