Product: OMEN 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-c0000 (343L4AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
Hello HP Community,
I own an HP Omen 16 laptop equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processor and an AMD Radeon RX 6600M graphics card. Currently, my laptop is powered by a WK04XL battery with a voltage of 15.4V and a capacity of 70Wh.
I’m considering upgrading to a WK06XL battery, which has a different voltage of 11.58V but a higher capacity of 83Wh. My question is whether this upgrade is feasible, given the voltage difference. I’ve noticed that some similar Omen laptops come with an 83Wh battery.
Could you please provide guidance on whether I can safely upgrade to the WK06XL battery despite the voltage discrepancy?
Thank you for your assistance!
