Just had fiber installed a week ago to house, replacing DSL, yet not able to connect the printer to wireless network.
I have 3 other computers that are able to connect to new wireless fiber modem with the same settings unchanged.
(installer set new fiber modem w/ same settings as DSL modem it replaced)
The printer is a HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus & the new fiber modem is a BGW320-505.
I'm following the printer's Wireless Setup Wizard. I get all the way to printer finding the network SSID correctly & Wizard then asking for password key printed on modem. After entering password key as accurately as possible, the Wizard says it's not correct & can't connect to the modem.
I have tried the Wizard several times, including moving the printer within 10 ft of the modem, to ensure it's not a weak signal problem. Yet I get the same result each time.
I have 2 computers networked to modem & have verified the network password key on both these match that shown on the modem AT&T marking sticker.
Could I get help connecting my printer please? Thank you!
