We have an instaink printer... officejet 8010... it has an issue where it stays on WIFI but once in a while it decides it can't access the internet. I can scan and print from local LAN computers while it is in this state, but instaink has a problem, saying it can't access the internet.
A reboot fixes the problem. I don't have this problem with any of the other 40 devices I have in my smart home... why is HP so special?
FWIW, this has happened on all my previous HP printers as well... its very frustrating... I just want to know why these HP printers stay on the WIFI network but decides it can't see the internet. The view from my router says its connected... so this must be some internal problem with the printer, as proved by a simple reboot... but why do I have to do this once in a while?
Thanks for helping my understand...
