Product: HP Envy x360 Convertible 15m-bp0xx

Looking for an update to the Intel HD Graphics 620 driver for my laptop.    The version I have is the one the computer came with (4/25/2018.)   HP doesn't provide one.   Having screen flickering on my 2nd monitor.   It's sporadic.   Suspect it started during the last Windows 10 update but not sure.     The Intel assistant tells me it's an HP-specific version of this driver so I can't use Intel's.     Dell offers a more recent version but I don't want to break my machine.   Why do computer manufacturer versions of a video driver exist?    I've played with the refresh rate on 2nd monitor going from 60 to 100 Hz.   No joy.    Any ideas short of reimaging my machine?
