HP Recommended

I have a HP 24mh 23.8-inch Display Product 1d0J9AA that is just over a year old. A black shadow appeared in the lower left corner. I have rebooted, checked connections, replaced the HDMI cord with a brand new one and still have the black shadow. I also attached my laptop to another monitor and the problem disappears.

 

Is there a solution or do I need a replacement monitor?
