Product: HP Universal USB-C Multiport Hub
Hello, I recently bought the HP Universal USB-C Multiport Hub to connect my two monitors to extend my macbook display. I have a DisplayPort cable and an HDMI cable, so I can use both ports on the hub. However only one monitor is identified, with that screen's display mirror on the other device.
From everything I've read, the hub needs DisplayPort alt mode to allow multiple monitors, and I understand my MacBook Pro should have that. So I don't understand why this wouldn't work?
Some details:
- MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2021)
- macOS: Sonoma 14.4.1
- 2x HP E24 G5 Monitors (one using the DisplayPort & cable, the other using HDMI port & cable)
