Hi folks,
I'm having some issues with an HP Omen 16 laptop where if I have the GPU mode as hybrid and I restart the laptop, I am stuck on a blank screen with everything seemingly working (fans, keyboard light, ect). Before it loads Windows 11, I do see the OMEN logo before going to the black screen which makes me think it's a software issue as opposed to a hardware issue. If I have the laptop in discrete mode, I don't have the same issue. The only way I have been able to fix this is I close the lid and open it back up which brings back up Windows properly. Not a big deal to do this every time I restart but it's a strange issue to have popped up randomly. Has anyone else experienced this issue and have a fix?
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling both Nvidia's gpu drivers and AMD's adrenaline software/drivers, rolling back to old restore points and so far no fix. I also have a separate issue where I'm only able to select 60hz or 240hz refresh rates on my built in display. Previously I had options for dynamic 60/144, dynamic 144/240hz and standard 144hz. Maybe these issues are connected somehow?
Appreciate any advice I can get!
