FRUSTRATED AND DISAPPOINTED IN MY HP SPECTRE X360 AND THE HP COMPANY
Purchased my HP Spectre X360 convertible March 2023. On May 13 /24, I opened my laptop and it was unresponsive. I then noticed a crack on the left side of the screen immediately above the left hinge fanning out across the screen. I contacted HP who told me it was no longer under warranty and I had to pay the cost of repair. I went online and found many many instances of HP customers experiencing the same problem. CLEARLY, this is a defect and this product should be recalled. HP should not continue to sell this unsafe product as its doing it in bad faith . The cracked glass on the screen is very SHARP and could have easily sliced my fingers if I had used the touch screen. I escalated the complaint to the HP manager who is still refusing to cover the full cost of the screen repair. I really thought I was buying a quality product not throwing away all this money for one year of use. I use my laptop for work but now its not usable and its dangerously unsafe. If anyone out there can help me I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, so disappointed!
