I thought i was still talking to someone from the toner company.. An online expert had transferred me to MetaverseLLC unbekownst to me. I realized afterwards that rather than address the problem I had called about they used that as an excuse to access my screen and then suddenly shifted the conversation to what they said was evidence of viral or spyware contamination (the evidence was some stupid little cloning program that kep making copies of itself -- I beiieve now, in hindsight that either they installed that program or it was not on my computer at all but on a file that they brought into the video/screen.
They then advised me tha this was some contamination in my "network" that was now reinfecting my computer and advised giving them access to install or created something called "Checkpoint Network Firewall 770" which service they could provide for
2 years- 3 devices- 279.99
5 years-8 devices- 499.99
8 years-unlimited devices- 699.99
lifetime-unlimited devices- 999.99
with discount I bought the 469.99- 5 years
I now believe there was nothing wrong with my small home network (external drive, computer , printer and wifi modem).
I do not believe that a viral infecrion of some sort was hiding somewhere in my devices to continually reinfect my computer.
I have had my external drive out to best buy and had it checked for anything like that.
I had just had my computer out to Best Buy the day before to be cleaned up.
I believe their whole spiel was a scam.
No firewall was put into place,
No infected files or programs were disabled.
Further evidence that MetaverseLLC is not a legitimate company can be read at

I now believe that I basically paid for nothing. I am disputing the transaction but am not sure my dispute will be successful. Anyone having some evidence I could use to convince my credit card company that they are a scam would be helpful Thanks in advance if so.
