HP Recommended

I am unable to change the brightness of my laptop screen. When I use the the brightness keys, the level indicator goes up and down, as though the brightness of the screen were changing, but the brightness remains at 100%. the same happens when I try to change the brightness through the power settings.

I have tried uninstalling the pnp driver and updating it, but this hasn't helped
