HP Recommended

My printer tray won't close.  When it does, it squishes the paper so that several sheets are taken at once and create a paper jam.  I've done the suggested:  unplug for 3 minutes, press start button for 30 seconds, plug in, let it start up.  But this doesn't fix the issue.  I've also turned it on its side as suggested and looked for any paper jams.
