I have looked for an answer here in this forum, and see discussion around this topic from about 2 years ago, but no real clear answer.
I have an HP laptop model 15-dy5073dx which I purchased about 4 months ago.
I have Windows 11 and I have the Power settings set to never go to sleep when plugged in.
Despite those settings, after a few hours, the laptop goes black, and nothing I do will wake the screen back up!
- Ctrl-Al-Del
- space bar
- brief press of the power button
- Esc key
- nada
The only way I can get back to functioning is to long-press on the power button until I have forced the device to literally shut down, then power it back up. I HATE doing that, for many reasons, but I have no choice.
Any suggestions? This behavior is infuriating! Thanks!
