Hi,

 

 

 

My HP Elitebook 820 G3 is not charging.

 

 

 

The laptop was unplugged, and when I noticed the battery was getting low, I plugged in the charger. However, nothing happened. I tried changing power sources with no results, and I also tried using a spare charger. Still, the laptop did not charge, and eventually, it shut down completely.

 

 

 

I'm sure the chargers are fine, so it seems like the problem is with the laptop itself. 

 

 

 

When I plug in the charger, I hear a faint ticking sound. It's not very loud, but it's noticeable and wasn't there before.

 

 

 

I came across a suggestion to wait 2 hours before trying again. I followed this advice, but the laptop still doesn't charge, and the charging LED isn't turning on.

 

I can't reset or do anything that deletes files beacause I have an assigment to send and it's in this laptop.

 

 

 

Could you please assist with this issue?
