Hi everyone,
Currently using my HP g840 and enjoying it pretty much, except one detail. When buying the laptop, I was looking especially at laptops supporting windows face recognition feature, respectively devices having an IR camera, as this feature is crucial for me. Technical specs of the device indicate that it has an IR camera, but I was surprised when I saw the "We couldn't find a camera compatible with Windows Hello Face" warning in the settings. Luckily, I got the version with the fingerprint reader, but still I was more into using the face recognition feature. Has someone encountered the same issue with some of the HP devices? If yes, is there a way to fix it?
P.S. In the control center the webcam does not have an "IR" in its naming, so maybe it has something to do with the bios or something. All the driver are up to date and the windows hello extension is installed
