Good evening,
Recently I replaced the formatter on my DesignJet T830 MFP for plotter and now I am getting a blue screen with the error “8000BADF”. After doing some research online I found out that this error pops up when you have a wifi motherboard inside of a non wifi T830. And the fix is to update the firmware with the non wifi firmware. However, because of the error state I cannot update it. I have tried going into “manufacturing mode” and updating it from there but it can not read any hard drives from that state. Also, I tried updating it using Hp Designjet Utility from the computer but it did not detect the plotter, even though I could still ping the printer’s ip. If anyone knows how to update a Designjet T830 plotter while it is in an error state please let me know.
EDIT: By formatter I mean the Main PCA
