HP Notebook - 15-bs035la
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I got the following Failure ID when I used the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI to run a test on the Hard Drive.

Failure ID: RQE5VF-93SC9C-XD7W21-60T003

I ran the test because the DISK usage always increases to 100% in Task Manager whenever I opened Firefox or any other browser and it slows down the laptop a lot but even if I closed the browser, the laptop runs slow. Then after I restarted the laptop, the screen flashes white and returns to normal repeatedly after logging in and I can't do anything.

Also the HDD is 12% fragmented, I don't know if that's what's causing it.

Some solutions I found online suggested doing the following but it didn't work:

1. Uninstall the Graphics Drive & update it : I uninstalled the graphics drive but the screen was still flashing white and lagging when it restarted so I couldn't check for updates in the settings.
2. I tried the SFC /scannow command using Command Prompt in Safe Mode but this is what I got: Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation.

I'd really appreciate the help because right now it takes over an hour for the laptop to finish loading and work normally after logging in and that's only when I use Safe Mode and I might have to reset my laptop.
