I was told that my laptop only supports 16gb of memoriam RAM in total, which seems strange to me, since this computer is almost last generation. I ran this command in the CMD “wmic memphysical get MaxCapacityEx” to verify if that was correct and I got the following: MaxCapacityEx 33554432. Which would mean that my laptop does support 32gb of RAM in total, but HP support told me that it only supports 16gb in total. I want to have 24gb of RAM in my laptop (8x1 + 16x1) but I don't know if I can add 16gb memory to it. Does anyone who has checked know which of the two options is true? This is my laptop:
Victus Gaming Laptop Computer 15-fb2002la (A14LLLA).
AMD Ryzen™ 5 8645HS
RTX 3050 6GB
RAM DDR5 8GB
