After my iMac desktop computer executed a routine update of macOS Sequoia software, I received notice anticipating a problem with future macOS software updates and my HP OfficeJet Pro 9015Se All-In-One software. The message:

 

HP Inc. extension not compatible with future macOS updates.

The current version of the HP software uses an older system extension format that Apple is phasing out in upcoming macOS versions, potentially causing issues with functionality or preventing installation on newer macOS updates.

 

Is there a fix for this? Is HP planning to update its antiquated system extension format?
