HP Recommended

I have an HP Pavilion Laptop 15-eg3000.  I purchased it in March of this year.  It just started having a battery counterfeit check error message at startup that says a No-HP battery detected. It is the same battery that came in the laptop when it was purchased.  Nothing has been changed.  Why would I be getting this message.  I have run the hardware tests on it, and it passes every one.
