Product: HP Smart Tank 500 All-in-One

Hi everyone!

I'm encountering an issue while setting up the HP Smart Tank 500 Series printer, which doesn't have wireless or Ethernet connectivity only USB. After recently updating my laptop to macOS 15.3, I noticed that both the driver and the HP Smart app are no longer working. Despite multiple attempts—resetting, removing, and reinstalling the printer, restarting my laptop, and installing drivers—I’m still unable to add the printer through the HP Smart app.

When I try to add a new printer under System Settings > Printers & Scanners, it only recognizes it as a Generic PCL Printer, even after installing the correct drivers. Additionally, the HP Easy Start app allows me to install the printer, but it doesn’t let me configure it afterward.

I hope HP releases an updated driver compatible with macOS 15.3 soon. Thank you!
