We have 14 ScanJet Pro 3000 scanners throughout our school and suddenly they've stopped working properly. And they're all directly connected to workstations via usb 3.0 cable.
It makes no sense and I'm not sure how to solve the problem. I noticed somebody else reported the issue a few months back, and it looks like the consensus was to roll back to Win 11 23H2. My problem is, all workstations have gone past the 10-day rollback period, and I'm not sure what other options I have to fix this problem.
Does anybody know if HP will be releasing a driver update or workaround to help us IT support techs?
By the way, I've tried everything including uninstalling and reinstalling the scanner software, updating the firmware, changing usb ports and changing printer cables.
The most perplexing part is, sometimes it recognizes the scanner when you completely power down the workstation. Other times its doesn't, so my users turn their workstations on and off all day hoping to get lucky.
