Dear Community and Experts,
I am experiencing several issues with our new HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e printer, specifically related to its scanning functions. While printing works without any problems, I have encountered difficulties with both the Scan to E-Mail and Scan to Computer features.
It appears that the current firmware version (6.23.2.15, dated January 6th, 2025) may not support OAuth2, which seems to be affecting the Scan to E-Mail functionality. Furthermore, although the initial setup for the Scan to Computer function proceeds without issues, I consistently receive an error message stating that the HP imaging device cannot be found when attempting to use the Scan to Computer feature. On a slightly more positive note, it does seem to work with HP Smart; however, even in this case, there are complications. HP Smart is unable to automatically identify the scan source. When the automatic scan source option is enabled, the software defaults to using the scanner glass as the source, despite the documents being placed in the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) and the printer indicating their presence.
I would greatly appreciate any assistance or suggestions from others who may have faced similar challenges.
Best regards,
Daniel
