Just some feedback.  In the 4 + years I have had my HP printer and have been using HP Smart - when an issue occurs the HP Smart App has been able to assist a grand total of ZERO times.  The answer is always the same - can't find the issue.

 

Right now, my printer 'prints' and I can see ink levels.  But I can't scan.  HP Smart says my printer is not turned on - however while saying this HP Smart can somehow print and see my ink levels.  I have tried many solutions presented by chats, confirmed the IP address is correct, used pin to connect, tried HP set-up all over again, but always get the same message that my printer is not turned on.  And of course I have tried turning the printer and computer off and back on.

 

It there a way to use my HP printer without using HP Smart?  If not, I think I'll just throw the printer in the trash and but another brand printer since printer are pretty cheap.
