Can anyone help me with a problem I'm having with my HP Smart Tank 790 printer?
Since I purchased it, it has always printed 5x7 inch photos incorrectly. It scrolls upward, cutting off the image and leaving a blank space at the bottom of the paper of 2, 3, or 4 cm. It doesn't matter if I create the size in the printer software, if I set the default size of 5x7 that it already has, if I print them with HP Photo Paper or Other Inkjet Photo Paper, if I print them with borders or borderless, it always crops them. This is very strange because it never crops 4x6, 6x8, or letter-sized photos.
Also, it sometimes crops my prints on letter-sized cardstock paper with the Other Inkjet Matte Paper setting, but it never fails when I print with Normal Paper and Best quality. Although the prints come out a little blurrier with that setting, they don't distort the image.
Sorry if some things are not clear, I translated this using Google Translate and I see that the official HP forum is only in English.
