I previously disabled the touchpad as it was causing some issues and glitching. Upon trying to renable it, I spent ages trying to find the setting which, despite previously being easily found with one search, had seemingly diasappeared. I then found out that if a touchpad is not detected, this setting will disappear (supposedly). In device manager, not only can I not find any touchpad options (only HID-mouse compliant when an external usb mouse is plugged in), but there are 2 I2C HID devices under the Human interface devices section, and one has a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark. I don't know how to fix this as I am up to date with the BIOS and all the drivers, and deleting one or both of the I2C HID devices and then restarting the laptop just results in them coming back after the restart with no change. I need help on what can be done as I am confused and out of options.
