Product: Poly Voyager UC85

Hi,

 

I just bought these and they are good overall except for one thing that makes them pretty much useless for use in an office environment and that is the sidetone. I can hear my own voice and it sounds robotic as well as the environment and that in turn makes the ANC function  pretty useless. Please give us the option to turn this sidetone off as I cannot make any calls or being in teams meeting with this function on.  Setting it to low does not help. I know that other headsets have the option to disable it or set it to zero.

 

I know that many wants this function turned off as its extremely annoying and makes the headset pretty useless.

Is this unit running the latest Firmware 5043 from August 2024?

 

For any change to the default behavior, I suggest you contact our Support organization in your region if no other volunteers reply. Details are in my Signature.

I got it yesterday and it did an update as I installed the software, it has the following update so it looks like it has the Aug SW.
