ENVY x360 15-bp005na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have been looking at:

HP ENVY x360 15-bp005na Convertible Laptop with 3 Year Care Pack
and think this model with the 1TB drive would best suit my needs.
When I did your comparison app with the Spectre I noticed it says "Stylus" in what's in the ENVY box. Whereas it says "Active Stylus"  in the Spectre column under what's in the box. However, in the description is says "Active Stylus" included.
Would you conform before I buy what type of stylus comes with the new Envy; AND can you do the same things with this stylus that one can do on the Spectre?
Thank you, if you can answer these three questions it will help me decide which computer to buy.
Best Regards,
Tom.

You're very welcome. The Spectre X360 is indeed a great little laptop and a close second to my all time favorite of all I have had over the years. Mine is actually a loaner from HP as part of the HP Expert program and sadly I won't get to keep it. At the end of my year of testing it will be donated to a 401c and continue to benefit others.

That Envy model uses same HP Pen (Microsoft) that my Spectre uses. Same functions.

Hi all,

I too am in the dilemna the OP was in.

I've read the response above and also been through the list of compatible pcs and pens on the HP site. I cannot find the specs for the HP (Microsoft) pen anywhere so perhaps you lovely people at HP could tell me if it is an active digitiser and what the technology is (n-trig, wacom etc. ). Is it possible to use other makes of pen with the ENVY x360 15 bp005na and/or the Spectre x360 15 -bl000na?

Many thanks,

Mike.
