Hi everyone,

I have a laptop with some pressure marks on the screen, and I don't remember that I dropped it or put some heavy weight on it. Since my warranty is still valid, I contacted HP Support so they can check what the issue is and if my warranty covers it. I sent them the laptop, and after one month, a guy from the CRT team department emailed me that my warranty does not cover the issue and I have to pay 6000 SEK to fix the laptop. Then, I told him to give me a call and discuss it with me so I know what the problem is and possible solutions, but he ignored me, and after two weeks, I told  HP Support to send my laptop back. I don't want to fix it. I received the laptop with completely dead pixels. Before, I had only a few pressure marks, and now I have pressure marks plus dead pixels. I emailed the guy again to ask what happened with my laptop, and he ignored it again. I called HP Support to get his number or his boss's number, but they told me we can't give you any number since it is private information.
The bad thing is that this laptop is expensive, it costs around 40,000 SEK. Therefore, I would like to complain about the Swedish Consumer Agency since HP are not willing to discuss it with me. Before I complain, I wanted to know if there is any higher department in HP that can solve my problem.

Welcome to the HP support community.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
