Hi,

After BIOS update to the newest one I cannot lock the Fn key. Shift+Fn combination has no effect and all f1-f12 keys function as functional (volume, brightness, mute etc.). Before BIOS update the Fn-Lock function works properly and after hiting the shift+fn blocks function properites (what was indicated by the diode on Fn key).

Can someone help me with this problem?

Best regards,

I can confirm this issue with firmware 01.03.00 Rev.A.

You need to downgrade the BIOS to version 01.02.00 Rev.A until HP fixes this bug.

Downgrading means that the latest security vulnerabilities fixed in 01.03.00 won't be applied.

BIOS 01.02.00 Rev.A can be downloaded under the Revision History at https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-probook-450-g6-notebook-pc/23201167/sw...

Edit: This bug was reported a month ago, it looks like HP doesn't think this bug is important enough to fix.
