I am tying to follow along with the guide https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c05381064 to get TPM working on my Probook 640 G3 but I have a brand new G3 and now it ships with a diffrent firmware from what is in the guide listed I'm running 7.62.3126 IFX I am trying to down grade this but there is no BIN file that I can find on HP's site to move me from 7.62 > to ver 6.4 this would be to get TPM 1.2 back so that there is not an encrypton problem as described here-
I am having the same issue but now I belive my firmware is too new!
The only options in the dicumentation are
- TPM12_6.40.190.0_to_TPM20_7.61.2785.0.BIN
- TPM12_6.41.197.0_to_TPM20_7.61.2785.0.BIN
- TPM12_6.41.198.0_to_TPM20_7.61.2785.0.BIN
- TPM20_7.40.2098.0_to_TPM20_7.61.2785.0.BIN
- TPM20_7.41.2375.0_to_TPM20_7.61.2785.0.BIN
- TPM20_7.60.2677.0_to_TPM20_7.61.2785.0.BIN
- TPM20_7.61.2785.0_to_TPM12_6.41.198.0.BIN
And of couse all of these do not work with my current TPM firmware runing 7.62.3126
I am looking for the bin file TPM20_7.62.3126.0_to_TPM12_6.41.198.0.BIN
Thank you!

We are in the same boat! Received 5 refurb 745 laptops and cannot downgrade TPM. I am trying to find a way to reach out to IFX (if such a thing is even possible) and if I have any luck I will post the link here.
