Hello. I just ordered the HP ProBook 450 G6 Notebook with UWVA Anti-Glare FHD (1920x1080) screen. I have a question: is the screen using the PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)?
I found the tests saying that ProBook 440 G5/G6 and EliteBook 450 don't use PWM. However, the ProBook 450 G5 was confirmed to use PWM.
I am really conserned about this problem with the new HP ProBook 450 G6 I am expecting. Cannot find any reliable info. If someone could confirm that it has PWM, I would rather cancel my order.

Finnaly, the ProBook 450 G6 got tested by NotebookCheck group:
The display backlight flickers at 26040 Hz (Likely utilizing PWM) Flickering detected at a brightness setting of 40% and below. There should be no flickering or PWM above this brightness setting.
So the results are not perfect, but acceptable.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thanks!
I don't have a serial number, as it was a recent custom order and the notebook is currently being assembled.
This is why I'd like to know what type of 15.6" diagonal LED UWVA Anti-Glare FHD (1920x1080) screens are being installed into new ProBooks?
I really cannot stand the PWM, so it is a delabreaker for me.

I contacted tech support, they told me that they need time to find out. Unfortunately, they never contacted me back to answer my question.
It seems HP has no single harware specialist who can answer a simple question. 😞
I am still hopping to get some feedback from knowledgable users.
