Mike?

You need to open a Command Prompt as Administrator and use the commands that are in my solution. Have you managed to extract the BIOS files from the BIOS download from HP you should have a file which is number then ending in .bin

What model is your PC?

Also I've just noticed that for the model I was having the problem, HP have released a newer BIOS since. So maybe they have fixed the problem and the normal BIOS update procedure can be followed.

(I'm really busy at the moment so haven't had much time to check my message and reply)

@mike no problem bro.. you replied that's enough...

so there is no update for bios for my device till now and yeah i correctly extracted bios file and there were two files with extension of .bin and .sig.

i am confused in last part ( AFUWINx64.exe 08434.bin /P /B /N /REBOOT ).. where do i  use this code? cmd or utility tool

if utility tool then it's not working as i mentioned this thing early with some screen shots and if cmd please guide me how can i do because if i just copy paste this code i know it's not gonna work because how come computer will know the location of (AFUWINx64.exe) and bios file

my device name: Hp pavilion gaming 15 ec2008ax

Put the .bin and .sig you got save from running the bios self extracting you got from HP into the same folder that you have AFUWINx64.exe in.

copy the below into your browser (assuming the forum doesn't remove)

1drv.ms/u/s!AspvWYOpjvNygYZCT4sAY4woBao4nw?e=nkDLHs

You should get a zip extract the flashBIOS.cmd from it and put that in the same folder. If you trust me!! run the flashBIOS.cmd as administrator. That should find the find the AFU util and bios file in that folder and flash the bios and put a bios image in the recovery location

Bro is my laptop cursed or what?🙂😭😭 I copied bios file and utility file in one folder and also copied that Flashbios.cmd file in that

But when i try to open it as administrator it open and then closes instantly... When i remove AFUWINx64.exe it shows AFUWINx64.exe missing. But when i again copy afu file to that folder it closes instantly.😭😭 Mike bro pls help me out my laptop is burning like lava after bios update.. i will even pay you maybe i will take some time to  pay because i am still a student 🙂 but i will surely pay you... Can't you arrange a video call so that i can show you what i am facing.
