Plantronics Blackwire C5220 / Poly 8225 Blackwire

Hello there,

I am responsible for occupational safety in a call center. One of the new services, is the processing of e-calls received from highway emergency call boxes. Some of our employees complain about the volume of individual calls, while others have trouble with continuous background noise and high volume. The employees currently use the Plantronics Blackwire C5220.
As an initial reaction, the Plantronics Poly 8225 Blackwire was ordered, but this is not yet in use.

My actual question: What options do I have to measure the volume of the headsets and how can the software be optimally adjusted to filter out background noise as efficiently as possible?

Hello @DP0407 ,

welcome to the HP Poly community.

Most current headsets are compatible with Poly Lens. You can install this for Windows or Mac or even Mobile

The above can change under Settings > Advanced > Anti-Startle or Noise Exposure settings. There is also Plantronics Manager Pro as an option.

If he above fails, and no other Volunteers reply, I suggest you contact our Support organization in your region. Details are in my Signature.

Best Regards
