I have a Poly 7220 Wireless desk phone. I have had it for about 10 months. The last week it has been acting strange. While in the middle of a phone call with a customer, the sound volume of the customer will fade away until I can't hear the customer any longer. As I say hello several times back to the customer, the customer states they can hear me perfectly fine. I once tried to mess with the speaker volume as this phenomenom is happing in real time and it seemed to jolt the fading of sound for a few seconds but ultimatley would fade to the point I could not hear the customer.

I thought I could dis connect the power and the dongle from the main phone as a reset protocol but this has yielded into a bigger issue.  Now the green light at the base cradle will not light up, nor will the headset pair with the base. I have tried all three methods of pairing with no success. The phone is out of warranty per my serial number look up on HP.com what other options do I have?

The item at hand is a Poly Savi 7220 DECT Headset
