How cold is too cold for my printer?

From the spec sheet:

Environmental specifications

Printer environmental specifications

	Temperature range	Humidity range
Operating for optimal print quality	22°C to 26°C (72°F to 79°F)	30% to 60%
Operating for standard printing	15°C to 35°C (59°F to 95°F)	20% to 80%
Printer without consumables	5°C to 40°C (41°F to 104°F)
Non-operating packed consumables and printer:	-40°C to 60°C (-40°F to 140°F)

  If you're going to store it in a cold climate, I would remove the ink carts just to be safe.  Not sure about the printheads,  It would be nice to be able to store them outside the printer but then they'd be uncapped and would probably dry out. Maybe someone with more knowledge can help out.  My experience with frozen printers is severely lacking.  How long are you going to keep it in the cold climate?  Anyway to keep it plugged in while it's in storage?

If you are storing below the recommended operating temperatures, make sure to all the device plenty of time to completely return to standard operating temperatures.

Thanks for the printer environment requirements.

I have built a Plastic "room around my computer and printer in the non temperature controlled shop we have.  I keep it at about 65-70 with an oil radiator type heater and I am definitely more comfortable too!
