Hello,
I can't power off my designjet T795 with the button on the panel, only with the main switch on the back side. I can press it as long as I want, nothing happens.
I've replaced the little board with the button on the front side and checked the connection of the cabel from the button to the interconnection board.
Is the interconnection board defect? Does anyone know this.
Printer works fine apart from that.

Hello @ochmenno
Did you replace the little interconnect board with a brand new one or did you get it from another printer?
Do you have this issue with the power button after an electrical failure?
Thank you.

Thank you,
first problem was error 08:04 again and again. I've replaced the 9 pin (or so) connection cable which goes from the intercon. board to the panel with one from another printer. So no 08:04 anymore. Fine.
But now there is this problem. I haven't replaced the intercon. board yet. But could I use the one from the other printer too?

If replaced the cable with an used one from another printer, I would like to know if that other printer had any problems, when any part has to be replace that part has to be brand new even if the other printer you got it in your case from you have to buy the cable, as per your description it is the Cable Power-Data Snoopy to Front Panel, my suggestion as per the new information about the 08:04 error that the printer had is to order the CN727-67016 Cables kit - eMFP and ferrite cables and to replace the used cable with the new one from the kit that usually takes care of the 08:04, don't use anymore used parts please.
Thank you.
