Hi,
My printer will not let me get to the advanced HP settings, despite having the printer attached to the computer. I can print from it, but I cannot use the HP Printer Properties in order to make a custom paper size for example. When I follow the instructions on the following link to get to these settings:
I get the following - The right half of the image is what comes up when I press "advanced".
The drop down menu has the standard list of pages but no way to customize.
On the computer that I originally set up this printer, I am able to adjust the paper size, following the below instructions, and the layout is similar: https://support.hp.com/ca-en/document/c03890386
I don't understand why it is not working on my other computers, I have tried installing some drivers and utilities but I seem to be downloading all the wrong ones. I was wondering how to fix this issue so I can get the HP printer properties in order to make custom paper sizes.
Thanks!

I have found the solution.
First, what I did was uninstall (not just delete, uninstall) all HP software that I had, and removed my HP Designjet printer from my printers list. You can do this by searching "Add/Remove" programs in your windows search bar.
Then, I followed the User manual (can be found at this link, should be the 5th manual in the list) https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-designjet-t500-printer-series/28254950/model/27315478/manual...
Then go to this link, and download the product software. This link is also in the user manual. http://www.hp.com/go/T100-T500/drivers
After you download the driver, run it, add your printer, and select custom installation, and select all of the products in the list.
Since then it has worked for me!

i've had this same problem when trying to print from AutoCAD. Haven't figured it out yet either. I have another CAD program I use that doesn't do this so I'm guessing it's something in AutoCAD that needs to be tweeked in the Add A Plotter feature.
What program are you trying to print from when you get this screen? Just curious.
